Chess
Apple Chess. Only better.
Chess is Apple's chess application bundled with macOS. The software is open-source and can be modified at will—so we did. We've improved Chess to make it more playable for the average chess enthusiast.
We've changed the computer engine difficulty accessible in Preferences to search by move depth instead of by time. Now you can have a better idea of your own chess playing strength based on the number of moves you allow the computer to look-ahead.
We've also improved board and piece appearance, including better color combinations, lower distractibility, and higher contrast. The wood board and pieces in particular are modeled after popular tournament Staunton wood chess sets.
Note: Because this version of Chess is not distributed on the Mac App Store, Game Center is disabled. If you don't mind that, download below and see the difference, it's free!

We've finally released our unique brainstorm and whiteboard app Storme that helps creative professionals focus visually on developing and exploring their ideas so they can do what they do best—create.
It has been some time in the making. We hope you'll notice that Storme was crafted with no small amount of TLC and plenty of attention to detail. Storme is available for macOS High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina.

Team
Some of the open-source projects Dalmazio has been involved with in recent years include those related to peer-to-peer technologies and articulatory speech synthesis. Other technologies he has worked with include mobile cloud computing, kiosk systems, visually assistive technologies, and applications geared towards creative professionals. But most important to Dalmazio is the design and craft of beautiful software with keen attention to the user experience.
